Josh S-N

Josh was born October 1, 1985, and grew up in Philadelphia, PA. As a young boy, he was always interested in music. At first it was mostly crappy nineties music, but he grew to really appreciate more complex music. In fifth grade he was exposed to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon mixed with the movie Wizard of Oz. Instantly, Josh felt a broader connection to music as an art rather than just a popularity contest. He felt so connected, he decided to teach himself the piano. At around the age of 14, he found out he had a natural talent for it. He met Pete when he was around that same age and they began to persue their collective interest in music from that point. At the age of 19, Josh attended Emerson College, where he would learn all about audio engineering and mostly about managing and creative leading. After graduating he has worked a plethora of interesting jobs. He is a manager at a chocolate shop, performs gorilla-grams, works on commercials with Snoop Dog, volunteers for a non-profit anti-water bottle campaign, and manages the band. He loves the Josh and Pete Band as if it were a baby without a mother found in a garbage can outside of his house: As if he has an obligation to raise it while growing to love it, but would love other people to help along the way.
